Jump aboard for this amazing ride

As a Business and Life Coach I value "Cool Stuff"; especially when its at the leading edge of science for inspiring and motivating self, family, teams and business.
Something in my Heart drew me to invest in “mBraining” and you know all of sudden my head began making meaning out of what was missing in my world.

How this works eloquently with what I am Doing

As a Master Trainer in NLP who is actively teaching internationally, having studied with many different schools over the last 20 years in the fields of NLP and other Mind-Body, Cognitive, Hypnotherapy, Whole Brain Thinking, and many more areas in cognitive sciences, I was interested in having a look at this book as something that may have value to add to my own skills, expertise and knowledge.
I enjoyed the book and saw some great possibilities of where value could be added in my personal life as well as professionally, so decided to discover it more and became a mBIT Coach, Trainer and only one of 6 in the world a Master Trainer in mBIT and in my own way have a deeper understanding of how it is working.
I believe that is provides a good framework for adding value to Coaches, Teachers, Medical Professionals, Managers, Lawyers, Professors, Accountants in recognising how important compassion is in their workplace. For Parents in being able to add value in how they are raising their children to be healthy adults, mentally, emotionally and physically.
Introducing normal everyday people in to an awareness of how they are doing what they are doing in their lives, getting the results they are getting - that enhance or are diminishing their way of living, and how they are making their decisions wisely or not so wisely, being able to pin point where exactly the change needs to take place so that they will and can make the difference.
As a survivor of a life threatening illness many years ago with a 3month -3yr limit, it was not science that turned my life round, it was discovering NLP and how my mind and body was not working for me and what I had to do to become more aligned with my own healing and
wellbeing, neuroplasticity has since added science research that backs up what NLP has been doing for 40yrs. The mBIT marries these fields together, and provides a great framework for better health and wellbeing.
Many NLP trainers internationally that I know, and have introduced to mBIT have seen the great value in this field like I have, and find the book as a valuable tool for creatively enhancing our own trainings, coaching and writing. Yes I do recommend the book and l suggest looking for the 'gems' that you can find and use in your life, the parts that are not sitting comfortable for you for whatever reason, pass over and leave them there. I am not a scientist and use mBIT in very practical ways of integrating this.
Marvin Oka and Grant Soosalu have put together their expertise in their fields, with the best of intentions to explore and manifest a different way of addressing balance and alignment within self and brought out this model that if you choose to open your mind, and noticing the possibilities of what it can provide for you, how it can and will add great value to all areas of your life.
Like with all books, there will be some things that you will go ‘YES’ this is for me, become aware of how you can implement in which area of your own life, and those other parts that you do not agree with, is okay. Because of my extensive training in the fields of behavioural modelling and NLP there were some parts I found to be not up to date with 3rd Gen NLP at the time of reading, and that is okay as each day all fields whether it be NLP, Science or whatever changes with new findings each day. I looked at how it all works together, not dividing it as something is better than the other.
Embrace those who are contributing to making us aware of new ways of being able to tap in to our own innate wisdom, becoming more creative with compassion and have the courage to move forward in making this a healthier world to live in. Thankyou.

Right On Target!

"mBraining" is a revolutionary book and a must read for anyone who is interested in effective decision-making and problem solving! It introduces us to the understanding that human beings are functioning with multiple brains--head, heart, and gut--and how this is supported in previous century medical history, ancient wisdom traditions and eastern spirituality, as well as modern cutting edge neurological and psychological research and theory. The authors lay out the history and research on this topic in a step-by-step method that is well-researched and comprehensive yet clear and understandable, as well as truly fascinating. Once you read this book, you will understand a more accurate model of the intelligence of our multiple brains and be able to apply the knowledge and exercises in this book to begin achieving a unified body-mind and well-being.
As a counselor and school psychologist, I spent years reflecting with people to assist them in getting in touch with their gut feelings and to use this gut intelligence in the decision-making process. The authors' discussion of the two main functional intelligence or what they call "core competencies" of the gut brain is in essence right on target with my own findings with what people express as their inner needs experienced in their gut feelings. It is quite exciting to find that what has become clear in my own life's work with hundreds of people also validates what is written in "mBraining" about the gut brain intelligence. I thank you both, Marvin Oka and Grant Soosalu, for your well-written and engaging book with such an important message of multiple brain intelligence.
